Dog desperately chases behind owner’s car after being dumped at lake – let’s help police identify man

At Lake Ming in Bakersfieldlake, California a heartbreaking moment is captured as a dog chases his owner’s car after being abandoned.

The dog can be seen refusing to leave his side, the man walks back to his car and gets behind the wheel. The animal puts its paws on the driver’s side door, trying to get in, but its owner put his foot down and the black sedan drove off.

This disturbing video clip is steadily spreading online as he is seen physically beating and then abandoning his innocent pet.

Steven Sage Silver, who was in his car less than 100-yards away from where the incident took place recorded the evidence.

In the video you can hear Silver speaking as he records the video, saying: “Hell no, that’s your dog man. That’s fucked up. This guy is dumping his dog right here.”

A man can be seen walking his dog away from the Sedan in the video footage, while his pooch is totally oblivious whats about to happen next.

The owner forcibly throws the dog out of the car as he manages to get back in the driver’s seat. He then quickly drives off, leaving his loyal pet to chase him down the street.

The unnamed man tried to get into a fight with him after being confronted as to why he was being physical with the dog, according to Silver.

In the caption of the video, which he uploaded to Facebook, Silver said: “These people were hitting this dog in the face when I first approached them. They then abandoned the dog after the male tried to get into a physical altercation with me.

As he drove off he was yelling: “It’s your dog not mine.”

Kern County Animal Services have reportedly opened an investigation into the incident requesting information from the public. Its possible the owners could face misdemeanour charges if their identities is discovered.

No innocent animal deserves to be treated like this. I hope his owner is brought to justice.
