97-Year-Old Betty White Credits Her Long Life to Vodka and Hot Dogs, and ‘Lots and Lots of It’

Medical providers, health publications, and the media occasionally offer advice on the keys to a long and healthy life. However, if you look at some of the world’s longest-living people have revealed unusual things about their personal habits which have played a huge role.

Betty White, a much loved comedian, credits her love of hot dogs and vodka for helping to keep her vibrant in her 90’s. Can you believe she celebrated her 97th birthday on January 17.

The actress also talks about the importance of living with a positive attitude in an interview:

“Accentuate the positive, not the negative. It sounds so trite, but a lot of people will pick out something to complain about, rather than say, ‘Hey, that was great!’ It’s not hard to find great stuff if you look.”

This is part of what has kept her going in life and the entertainment industry. The same optimistic outlook also gave her hope about her celebrity crush: Robert Redford as refuses to give up on that thought.

If you want to keep up with the Golden Girl’s antics, head over to her Instagram page where she is full of jokes!

Betty we think you could be on to a winner there, what do you reckon?
